Dr Shane Conway, Researcher in the Discipline of Geography's Rural Studies Unit at NUI Galway, was recently featured in the Irish Farmers Journal (23rd of July, 2020) advocating for the social and emotional needs of the older generation of the farming community to be taken into account in light of calls for a new Early Retirement Scheme for farmers.
