Research by Dr Shane Conway in the Discipline of Geography's Rural Studies Unit on the various emotional and social factors governing the behaviour patterns and attitudes of older farmers facing the ‘twin processes’ of farm succession and retirement has recently been featured on the International Farm Transition Network (IFTN) website based in the U.S.A.
