The Career Development Centre hosts a number of careers events during the year which are an ideal way for you to promote your job opportunities directly to our students.
These events typically take place from September-November, and January-March to accommodate the student timetable.
Fairs / Expos
Graduate Jobs Fair - October
This is a perfect opportunity to meet our final year students! 2016 saw over 80 exhibitors promoting their opportunities to approximately 3,000 students and recent graduates. Organisations attending are diverse, including national and multi-national companies and SMEs across a range of industry sectors.
Places allocated to companies* on a first-come-first-served basis. If you are interested in exhibiting at the fair, please contact employers@nuigalway.ie for further details.

Internships & Graduate Opportunities Fair - January/February
This event provides the perfect opportunity for all graduate recruiters who hire students and/or recent graduates for graduate or internship roles to meet with NUI Galway undergraduate and postgraduate students across all academic disciplines.
Registration typically opens in November through Careers Connect with places allocated to companies* on a first-come-first-served basis.

Teaching Careers Fair - January/February
Meet with our Professional Masters in Education class. Each year we have approximately 250 students from this programme who attend this event, along with other students who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching.
Registration typically opens in November through Careers Connect with places allocated to companies on a first-come-first-served basis.

*Due to space restrictions, it is necessary to give priority to companies who employ graduates directly and are currently recruiting. A place is not guaranteed until the booking form is filled out and acknowledge by our Employment Officer. Stand size is limited.
