How to get Administrator Rights

If you require Administrator rights to add or remove applications , a utility is available via the University Software Delivery Service (Novell ZCM)

This service is available only to the University of Galway laptops and desktops that have a wired (LAN) and wireless connection to the University network.

You are responsible for any malicious software installed on your device. Please exercise caution in installing third party applications.

Go to My Computer

Open the University of Galway applications folder (if you do not see the University of Galway Applications install the ZCM Agent here )

Open ISS Utilities :

In ISS Utilities, double click Give Me Admin Rights. Please allow up to 60 seconds for this process to complete. You will receive a pop-up confirmation windows when it has completed:
