This online workshop will explore the following:
- How the foods you eat play a role in keeping your brain healthy
- What foods can improve specific mental tasks, such as memory and concentration
- How food can help you focus and with your exam performance
- Simple swaps to make in your current meals

This session will be an interactive and practical workshop to support students to understand reasons for procrastination and strategies to overcome procrastination.

Sometimes we can be harder on ourselves than we are to those around us.
There are many reasons for this self-critical mindset, but research shows that self-criticism demoralises us and is bad for our mental and physical health - exactly what you don't need when heading into exams!
In this workshop, we will explore how the ways that we speak to ourselves can impact our well-being and success - including in exams.

This workshop will demystify the concept of plagiarism, so you never have to wonder whether or not it is in your paper.
We will discuss how to use secondary sources in a professional manner, how to cite, and how to paraphrase.
Finally, we will talk about common essay-writing pitfalls and ways to avoid them.

Week 4: 28 March - 1 April- Get Exam Ready
Mindfulness - Coping with exam stress: Mon 28th March @ 6.30pm - Online Event
Facilitator: Dr. Eva Flynn, Discipline of General Practice, NUI Galway.
The facilitator will check in with the attendees and what their concerns are. Covering general well-being during exam time and a meditation session. The facilitator will also check how students feel after the meditation session.

This one-hour in-person workshop will cover everything you need to know to get through exam season. The Exams Office will cover some rules and regulations, Students’ Union reps will share their top tips, and our Education expert will take you through some resources, techniques and strategies for exam success.
