Mary O'Riordan

Mary O'Riordan was appointed Vice-President for Student Services and Human Resources at NUI Galway in April 2003 and took up her post in June 2003.

Mary worked previously in Computer Services for 24 years, having graduated from UCC with a B.SC. In more recent times Mary acquired an MBA from NUI Galway and was the Deputy Director of Computer Services and Head of Applications prior to taking up this post.

Mary O'Riordan served on the Governing Authority between 1992 and 1998 and is the first administrative member of staff to have been appointed as Vice-President.

Please note that the office of the Vice-President for Student Services and Human Resources was redesignated as Vice-President for the Student Experience in April 2009.
