Detailed information about the available modules is provided in our Visiting Student Book of Modules and session times are on the general Timetables.
Students MUST work follow the procedures for the relevant exchange programme below in order to obtain agreement for their proposed programme of study. Entry into modules is subject to the applicant's academic background in the relevant subject areas and space availability in the module.
Many modules run in 4 or 6 week blocks so students should ensure they attend lectures and practicals from the first day to avoid missing any content.
(new paragraph) Students must ensure they do not book flights home until AFTER the end of the exam period. See the university semester dates.

To identify potential supervisors, please see our Schools and Research Units page and the NUI Galway list of research centres and units.
Under no circumstances should prospective students send bulk non-specific emails to multiple academic staff. This is spam.
