Biography

I am applied mathematician working in the School of Mathematics, Statistics & Applied Mathematics. I have a particular interest in modelling systems where diffusive mechanisms play an important role. My initial research interests were in the area of solid state diffusion, with particular reference to diffusion in compound semiconductors. Latterly I have developed an interest in the mathematical modelling of drug delivery and some systems in molecular biology.

Research Interests

The mathematics of diffusion, modelling diffusion in solids, mathematical modelling of drug release systems, developing an interest in modelling systems in molecular biology.
