Graduate of Dresden University of Technology (M.A. & PME), Edinburgh University (M.Sc.) and National University of Ireland Galway (Ph.D.)
Lecturer in educational theory and practice, quantitative and mixed-methods research methodologies, action and practitioner research
Published researcher in initial and continuing teacher education policy and practice
Director of school placement initiating and developing school-university partnerships and leading development and implementation of policies and practices of school placements for student teachers
Over ten years experience as modern languages teacher at primary, secondary and third level (state funded and private schools and colleges) before taking up current position
