Complex Systems Research Centre
The Complex Systems Research Centre is an interdisciplinary research collaboration
between Physical, Mathematical, Biological, Computational and Social Scientists
with the common aim to understand the most challenging and complex problems
faced by science and society.
Mission
Historically, difficult and intractable problems have challenged traditional barriers between disciplines and this has inhibited solutions-driven progress. The complex problems faced by science and society today are no different, and require the confluence of a novel, wide-ranging collaboration between disciplines.
CORE researchers bring their combined expertise to bear on problems in a range of areas:
- Dynamics of Physical and Biological Systems
- Economic and Financial Dynamics
- Cognition, Decision-Making and Human Behaviour
- Information, Computation and Network Dynamics
- Biostatistics and Bioinformatics
